Academic Coffee Consulting Project
Objective:
Collaborated with Academic Coffee to offer free marketing strategies focused on growing their digital presence, as part of a Women in Business consulting project.
Role:
Served as Director of Marketing for Women in Business (WIB) and mentor for the consulting team.
Led project planning, set milestones, and facilitated team-client communication.
Provided strategic and presentation guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Actions:
Directed weekly meetings to align goals, monitor progress, and optimize project timelines.
Coached team members on marketing research, digital strategy development, and client communication best practices.
Reviewed and refined client deliverables, ensuring professional and impactful final presentations.
Result:
Team received First Place, Best Deck, and Best Speakers awards.
Strengthened Academic Coffee’s marketing strategy across social media and digital platforms.
This experience strengthened my skills in planning and optimizing campaigns across the open internet, including display, video, and connected TV. I gained insight into how DSPs and SSPs connect advertisers beyond walled gardens, preparing me to drive more transparent, data-driven marketing strategies.
Built strong foundation in inbound marketing strategies, from creating SEO-optimized content and building effective social media campaigns to leveraging video and advertising for brand messaging. This training strengthened my ability to drive audience engagement, measure performance, and build data-driven marketing strategies focused on long-term growth.
